About Us
We believe design is the most powerful lever for creating sustainability at scale.
We’re not here for theories or trends. We’re here to help practitioners do the work.
Redesigning the future, one product at a time.
Our mission is simple: make sustainable design practical, actionable, and valuable.
We're building a world where every product design decision considers environmental and social impact, where sustainable design is the default rather than the exception, and where business value and planetary health go hand in hand.
If you’re a designer, engineer, product owner, strategist, or consultant looking to make sustainability part of how products actually get built, you belong here.
Our Story
The Sustainable Design Project emerged from a simple question from two designers who wanted to do better:
What if we could help design and strategy professionals integrate sustainability into their work without sacrificing business outcomes?
We believe that when you bring together eager participants in an environment built for learning, collaboration and iterative growth, remarkable things can happen. We’ve seen that happen in every single workshop we’ve hosted.
Your Fearless Leaders
We founded The Sustainable Design Project to address a clear gap. Many designers, engineers, and product leaders believe sustainability can improve their businesses, but don’t know where to start. So we teamed up to share what we’ve learned from over 20 years of combined experience across product strategy, manufacturing, social impact, and sustainability.
